Anyone one have this happen to them in school?

I totally whiffed, I missed one of tests and instead of having a B I have a C. I could have made 1/100 and got a B...

So that's a difference between a B & C right? Have you tried to talk to the instructor? IMO its a dick move not rounding that up.

Yes, but my prof curved up for student who tried (I.e. Never missed class, never missed homework, attended office hours, etc)

I had to bring my dog to the LSU Veterinary Hospital, I had his discharge papers and everything for her. She basically told me to go stick that up my arse

Happened to me in my Into to Econ class during summer school.
Teacher would not round grades up. He always told us that if you are an inch from a touchdown it's not a touchdown.

Sounds like you took the count professor. Next time you schedule classes do a little research on the professors. ratemyprofessor saved me a lot of headache several times in college.

How is the professor a dickhead? OP literally missed an entire test. He's lucky to get a C. I wouldn't round someone's grade .0000000001 if they just didn't come to a teat

Only F I had was a class I didn't need. Had never dropped a class and I had some extras I ended up not needing to graduate so I was just going to drop them. Once I figured I didn't need it I stopped going and didn't do some of the work.
Went to drop the 2 classes I didn't need and was informed of a new policy that didn't let you drop more than a certain number per semester.
Went back to the class I had neglected (since I didn't need it) and the professor informed me that she didn't allow makeups. That F brought my whole GPA down. It was bullshite.
