There will be isolated events of people trying to frick with you but you have to be able to stand your ground. For the most part, if you mind your own business and aren't in a cell with a trouble maker, you can usually do the time peacefully.

Momma says I is a good baw.

Me and Lester Earl were cell mates. He taught me the ways of the world. I'm a rehabilitated baw now.

5 days in Lee County Jail.

From what I was told by some of the more hardcore guys in there, jail can be worse than prison in a lot ways. More crowded. Less sanitary. Worse food (less funding). Unless you're in a pod waiting to get transfered to real prison then you get less privacy because you're crammed into a big community type cell with tons of other dudes that often doesn't have enough beds. More fights and harder to keep to yourself. Gangs don't really run jails like they do prisons because people are in and out of jails. Jails are full of a bunch of random pissed off assholes picking fights just because while in prison the people are actually living there and most of the violence is "business" by the gangs and usually reserved for people that are involved with gangs.

For 2 hours in the Athens-Clarke county jail. I'm sure several of you who have ever made the trip to Athens for an LSU game have had a similar experience.

Props to anyone that's willing to be honest in this thread.

I've done some things in my life that coulda landed me in a heap of trouble had I been caught. Long since grown out of those things, luckily.

With your background I'm willing to bet you've been in the presence of a kilo of blow a time or two.
