hope that it's kept in good shape and they didn't low ball the maintenance budget

The golf course prekatrina literally paid for the entire city park budget. They're 100% not going to skimp.

Around the first of April. Membership will be a yearly pass (similar to what tpc has in place) for $5,000.

Just rumors at this point. 5k was more of my estimate. I have heard yearly pass numbers from $4000 to $6000. The only thing that has been consistent is that they will cap it off at 100 pass holders.

I would guess Green Fess would be close to $200 with a discount for Louisiana residents ..

TDGB open this summer. City park. Date tbd. That course has water on every hole. And will soon have beers on the path.

Any word on practice facilities and if they will be open to the public for a fee?

We went to play North Course last Saturday and they told us the new course will open in March or April. I'm curious what green fees will be.

No membership. You just have to show your knuckles and they'll give you a thumbs up or thumbs down.

Oh and watch out.. We fish out there a bit and have seen coyotes on the course a good bit.

People played the shite out of the East and West courses.

I can't wait for this thing to open.

If this is true, $400+ per month just to walk in the door seems a bit much, unless that's going to include some sort of amenities (carts, food/beverage).

I think the numbers you're hearing are a little inflated. I'm on the committee of a golf tournament with about 140 players every year. We play at Beau Chene and it's usually around $50 per person including the carts. We also drop thousands of dollars on food and drinks for the after party as well as ordering thousands in door prizes from the club. I called City Park to see if we could move the tournament there. They quoted me $85 per person for golf. He told me that's what he was looking to get on Fridays. They will have to change that pricing structure if they want more tournaments. That's more expensive than any course in South Louisiana. They want to mimick TPC but that's an even higher price than what they charge for tourneys.

If I had to guess after speaking with the GM their prices will be indentical to TPC. $2400 per year.

SO what does that translate into green fee? ~$50-$60?

$100 in the morning on weekends, $75 in the afternoon
$75 in the morning on weekdays, $55 in the afternoon

This would be right in line with TPC
