It looks ready to go when you drive by but nobody is out there and I can't find anything online stating when the grand opening will be. I know the plan was this Spring but wasn't sure if they released anything more specific.

Me too, would be so much better. I can't wait to see what kind of membership rates they will have.

March / April

I rode the course in November and minus tee markers, it was 100% finished and looked awesome. Greens were cut, tee boxes were cut better than any course around nola. The roots of the greens may not have been ready for lots of foot traffic, but they passed the eyeball test.

4 technically (East, West, North & South), though the South was more of a beginner/kids course

At least that's what I remember from the late 90's

Correct, and now there will be two, so the tree hugging hippies protesting can suck a bag of dicks.

They should build an amphitheater in CP. For a city known for their music they don't have a legit outdoor music space. Unless you count Champion Square, which is decent.

Around the first of April. Membership will be a yearly pass (similar to what tpc has in place) for $5,000.

That looks awesome. I hope that it's kept in good shape and they didn't low ball the maintenance budget.

I'm pumped.

This is where I learned to play golf.

I played the shite out of the East and West courses growing up.

Can't wait.

They're going to charge more than double what TPC charges for a membership? They better rethink that if so. I figured their prices would match TPC.

I guess the guy who stayed in a tree to stop this wasn't successful.

Threeputt, can you go into any further detail about this or where you heard that number from? I had heard more like $300 / month.
