Old Acrobat was easy, just choose "flatten fields and comments," and voila. Now you need to something called Preflight, and whenever I go through that process, the fields I want flattened all disappear.

I used Help, etc., but no luck as yet.

Can you print to PDF? That's how I usually do it. Click print, choose 'Adobe PDF' as the printer. A 'Save As' window will pop up

It's the easiest way to flatten but you might lose some quality or end up with a huge file.

We've switched to Revu but any time I use Adobe on another machine I just print to pdf.

Revu
We have that, our technical people use it. I've had Acrobat forever. I should have switched when X came out and it was so much different. Might as well have learned a new one.
