No dude, everyone knows to go over Mardi Gras when fewer people will be there!

And they paid a lot of money for that misery.

I second that motion.
No way in hell I'd take my 2 year old to that mess.

It ain't like it used to be. Mardi Gras is getting more and more crowded each year. And when it coincides with President's Day, it's packed.

The strollers piss me off to no end. They take it as a license to have the right of way in every fricking situation. Way too many are issued.

Yep....and it's priced as such too. We prefer to visit in January or October. Early December isn't too bad either.

What's the difference between that scene and NY NYE?

Yeah, I am here but frick this crowd. I am hot and miserable. Just got into an argument with my wife's mom outside Space Mountain. She wanted me to wait 2-3 hours with my wife's nephew and I said hell naw. Told them all to frick off and will see you at the hotel. Going to catch the train back to the hotel right now.

I will never understand the attraction to vacationing at Disney.

Whenever I see people argue like that, I very loudly tell my wife "This is the happiest place on earth!".
If you are staying at Contemporary or Polynesian, just watch the fireworks from there. You prob could do that at Grand Floridian as well, I just can't speak for the view as I've never seen from there.
And when I feel like annoying my wife I refer to the monorail as the singular rail, as in, hey honey, let's ride the singular rail to Epcot. Good times.

It is a fun place when it's not insanely crowded. As I've mentioned on this board before, Disney doesn't do large crowds well at all (few places do). Just like I'd never want to go to Times Square on New Years Eve, I'll never go to WDW then as well.
But in normal times of year, it is fun, the service is very good, and the kids really enjoy it.

We went for Mardi Gras few years back and was packed. We went this past September week after Labor day and was not busy at all. We caught the gap between summer and Food and Wine festival and made it a lot more enjoyable.

Haha, you're a dick.

We were there 2 weeks ago, in 5 days our longest wait was MAYBE 30 minutes.
