I browsed it recently to get some gift ideas for my wife. Thought it might even make a good place to start storing some pictures and videos of interest to me to share with others. I couldn't pull the trigger, though, because it just doesn't seem man approved yet.

We are just buying our first house and my wife has all kinds of pretty cool diy house ideas thats she gotten from there. But mostly the recipes is what she uses the most

Pinterest is awesome
I've gotten recipes off of it, ideas when I was planning my wedding, ideas for things to do on any vacation I've taken recently, workout routines, found links for cool items in general, cute clothes, decorating ideas, organization ideas, life hack ideas, etc, etc.
Basically just a way to organize stuff you see on the internet that you want to "save" for future reference.

I use it to see what my wife is pinning. Really comes in handy around gift getting time. It's like crack to her though. The ipad is known solely as her "pinterest machine."

Women at work love it. From their descriptions I don't understand the appeal.
