Same boat, twin sister.

Haven't spoke to her in a decade. Sadly, I don't miss her or even think about her other than when a mutual friend from our youth unknowingly ask how she's been.

We were always polar opposites growing up, ran with different groups in high school, ect.

Short version: She dropped out of college and ran off an married her high school boyfriend that my parents had confrontations with.

I honestly hope she can live with her choices. I am a pretty emotionally numb kind of guy when it comes to making your own luck in this world, but even I would feel guilty for being as selfish as she was.

Still trying to decide how I will handle things when one of our parents inevitably pass if she comes to the funeral.

Who cares? Ya she may make shitty decisions but that is exactly why she needs you. I mean.....I know family stuff is tough, and maybe I have been lucky, but I just don't think I could bail on a family member or loved one no matter what.

Your over simplifying a long term set of actions.

Again, she bailed on our family.

My father, older brother, and I for the most part stayed out of it and remained neutral when it first started. The conflict was mostly between my mother and her (my mom's) disapproval of the guy.

I cut her out when she didn't resolve the dispute and let his Dad walk her down the aisle. She was my father's only daughter and that crushed him.

Bitch had the nerve to send my parents an invitation to the wedding that read the granddaughter of xx request your presence.

She made her bed at that point, I hope she can lie in it for the rest of her days.

Got to be more to the story than this. If not, that's not really a good reason to avoid your sister.

Identical twin brother. We have been asked the same stupid questions so many times that we make it a point to respond with some incredibly off the wall answer.

Are you guys twins? No, our dads are twins. We are first cousins.

Can you guys talk to each other with your minds? Yep, we have been talking about you for the last five minutes.

Can you feel when the other twin is in pain? Yeah, but we can feel most everything, including sex.

Some of the looks we get are fantastic.

I am not a twin, but my mom was. My mom and aunt always finished each other's sentences and stuff.
The kind of strange thing is that my cousin and I were born on the same day within an hour of each other, but 3 years apart. People thought we were brothers and that my brother was the cousin.

I have twin girls and I get asked all the time.

1) Do twins run in your family?

2) Are they Identical?
