Anyone ever had health issues due to toxic black mold or stachybotrys in their home? Or do you know anyone who has? If so what were their symptoms, did they have to move out or have to throw away any belongings, was there a lawsuit, did their symptoms improve if they did move from the house, do you believe it can be deadly?

What in the world would give you the impression that toxic black mold could be deadly?

I applaud your correct use of the multiple and alternating there/their.

Don't know anything about toxic black mold. Sounds bad, though.

No but it's a tasty treat and great on salads. Don't let your kids have any. They're not old enough to appreciate it.

When i moved back to St.Louis, i moved in with a buddy till i got a new apartment.

His apartment was bottom floor, and i swore the carpet always felt like it had moisture in it. I got out after 2 months, but since leaving i had sinus issues.

Never had them till i moved out. I think because of the moisture from concrete being on ground floor that mold crew under the carpet.

He's always been a hypochondriac when it came to illnesses, so i can't figure out if he got anything from it. He's always f'in sick with something. He reads Web MD and comes up with his new ailment.

Yes, my daughter. Moved out of the house and threw out most fabric-related items that could not be cleaned. She had a lot of health issues, headaches, fatigue, brain fog, sinus/respiratory issues. After 1 1/2 years of living in a place that did not have toxic mold, she is much better.

Did she own the home or rent? If rented was a mold contract signed and was she able to get reembursed by the the owner for items thrown out? Was weight loss and/or skin rashes a symptom?

CDC website for all the information on black mold you could possibly want.

LSUAg website that should give more specific info pertaining to Louisiana and the species you should find here if thats where you are located.

Better read there than ask anyone on tigerdroppings when it comes to you or your family's health.

Dont screw around with it if you have it. Take proper precautions, especially around children, elderly, and those with prior lung disease.

EDIT: Short answer, its Dangerous, especially for high risk individuals. Thats the medical side. For the legality of what you asked, might want to consult a lawyer friend.
