What are some of your tips besides working out and eating healthy? There are 28 people in it @$50/person. First place gets $700, second place gets $420, and third gets $280. It runs from Monday until May 20. Body weight percentage

ETA: I weighed in at 224

Drink a ton of water the day of the initial weigh in, then get really drunk the night before the final weigh in. Remember a gallon of water weighs over 8 pounds.

Operate at a calorie deficit by burning more calories than you consume. The larger the deficit, the more weight you lose.

buy a vitamix. go to greenfamily.com for vegetable and fruit combo ideas.

Yes I have. 2nd, a couple of times.

weigh in every single day at home.

Don't make a big thing of it or rag on people. Stay low.
Just forget cookies, cake and pie. DONT. Thanksgiving and Christmas are the biggest challenges you will face.
Don't let anyone tell you what is right for you.
The long term challenge is when family tell you you are too skiny and you are not close to your goal yet.
MAKE A GOAL. Calculate what it will take to meet it.
so many lbs a month. turn that into lbs a week. Anything more than 2 lbs a week is too much.

Only 5-6 people will stick too it for that long. I was in one and only 6 reached our goal of 10% body weight. Stick with it and you'll get some cash

If you want something that you can actually sustain until may, Paleo is the way to go.

High protein, no/low carb.

Not much more to say here. Maybe throw in some caffeine pills or some other stimulant. Drink your coffee black.

I'd say you have a good chance at beating the fatties, but at your weight of 224 pounds, I'd be hard pressed to put my money on you lasting 6 months

I did, used Atkins diet and blew everyone else away. \

We did 12 weeks-

If you follow it according to plan and don't cheat you should easily lose 20-25 pounds

One major thing- drink NOTHING but water, diet drinks impede weight loss
