I've tried, with much success, sneaking into a good bit of college and professional level games (around 20 or so). Mostly with made up stories, fake press passes (typically made from a legit one from a contact at CNN), and also just finding the least secure entry and creating a moment for me to make a dash and change clothing. Im sure I'll get the typical OT response from many people on here, but, oh well, maybe I'll get some useful info.

Anyway, I've never done this at any "high level" events: World Series, Super Bowl, Wimbledon, etc.The best I've done was getting in at a sweet sixteen game. Has anyone had any success doing this at events like this, or any other less secure events. I'm looking for ideas at a certain event in May.

We used to pose as vendors and sneak into Saints games when I was in high school. This was over 10 years before Katrina and security is nothing like it used to be.

A little closer to home is the story of the guy who showed up in Ref uniform for the LSU-Ole Miss game. He ended up running down the field as a ref and signaling touchdown on the Billy Cannon run. That's pretty cool.

If it's the Kentucky Derby don't bother. The only way would be to get access to the backside and walk up the track with a trainer. Security there is crazy

I haven't paid to attend a high schoo football or basketball game in years. I just wear my referee shirt and I'm in without any problem.

as others mentioned, posing as vendors was easy, but after 9/11, they have made it hard as hell to even get in with tickets, let alone sneak in.

Im not going to quote all the people saying I'm cheap, buy a ticket, etc. I would just rather not pay out the arse for something when I could save the money.

A crime? As long as I'm not assuming someone identity with a badge or something, the WORST that happens is I get a trespassing ticket. A risk I'm willing to take. If I get more charges than that, I'd be willing to plea down, with quite a bit of certainty I'd have success.

It's a close friends dad. She's a liberal POS, but the benefits outweigh her downsides.

Actually have the same idea, that's the strategy I'm attempting to work on now. It'll cost a little money upfront, but far less than an actual ticket in a decent section.

My GF's uncle does this. And for big events. I'm not sure about Super Bowl, but I know he's done it for NBA finals and the WS.

He's also mentally ill (for real). He'd just disappear and call from the other side of the country to tell someone he was going to some sporting event or concert. Very odd guy.
