I've had 2 full blown panic attacks before and they were both about 9 or 10 months ago. Both were because I felt light headed and my heart racing and beating like crazy.

I've delt with this recently. I'm 22 and a few months back I had episodes of fast heart rate, sweating, light headedness and a sense that I was going to die. I've had high blood pressure for several years and I went to the ER twice because I thought I was having a heart attack. After seeing a cardiologist and then one of the top hypertension specialist there is I recieved multiple EKGs, stress tests, Holter monitors and blood panels done they couldn't find any known cause. Scariest experience of my life but I'm slowly convincing myself it must have been anxiety because I'm medically okay other than the high BP that is how under control with meds. There is a 99% chance you're fine but if you're like me and have a family history of heart problems/defects you should definitely get checked out.

It's probably nothing. You just need to get about 20 years older when you will come to the realization that life is overrated in many ways and as you hit your forties you start slowly welcoming death as an old friend.

Every once in awhile I'll get a feeling in my chest or something and start worrying something is wrong with my heart. Usually my chest starts to feel heavy or I feel something in my throat. I'm 21 and seriously doubt anything too serious could even be wrong but once I notice it I get all worked up which probably makes it worse. Anybody else experience this?

I did few years ago. I went to cardiologist and then got an ultrasound on the heart(by Stevan Ridley's mom). It's very comforting to see on screen and hear from a real heart doctor that occasional palpitations and anxiety are normal and nothing to worry about.

If you have insurance and weird feelings, definitely go for the peace of mind.
