Well, when you're running from the cops do you expect them to just say "Aw shucks, officer, you got me"? Anyone who does that is a buffoon.
The trick is to admit nothing, of course. And to the haters, the OP said nothing about blacks vs. whites, anyone who has been around a courtroom knows there are plenty of white meth heads who do the same thing. In fact they even lie to their own attorneys.

More cops on here than I thought. You're in denial if you don't think they hate the fact that they can be filmed legally. My favorite is when body cameras "quit working" for the ones mandated that they have them on.

The cops have also been shown to have lied repeatedly in these situations. Fortunately for them, they are the enforcers of the law, and they basically can grant immunity to themselves. Seen it time and time again.
It baffles me how some people really think it's far fetched for cops to lie if their freedom is on the line. It's not like they aren't amongst one of the most protected classes in this country. They can literally do anything and get away with it. Common sense tells me that gives them more leeway within the law than others.

Some of them hate body cameras because it will hold them more accountable. Additionally, it's not like they ever really get punished for the crimes they have committed.
