My grandpa went to one to quit smoking. He never smoke again.

My dad smoked 2-3 packs a day in the 80s, and claims that he only smoked 2 cigarettes after he was hypnotized.

Anyone who is convinced they have been "hypnotized" has a categorically weak and easily manipulated mind.

5 or 6 yrs ago I was having anxiety attacks and trouble sleeping. Went to a psychologist who used hypnosis to calm my nerves during hour long sessions. It worked so well I recorded several sessions and have played back those tapes several times since to calm my nerves. Last time was over a year ago.

Sometimes still if I wake at night and have trouble getting back to sleep, I'll just repeat some of the soothing phrases in my head, become calm and relaxed, and nod off.

Have to say it was a game changer for me. Even lowered my blood pressure.

I have an appointment for the palm reader on Thursday. My hypnotist suggest I go there. They REALLY know how to sort things out for you, he says. They don't know each other though, that's how I know it's safe they're not in cahoots.

I'm told to stay away from that positive thinking and constructive criticism stuff.
