Getting close to getting a new vehicle. I am leaning toward a Nissan Murano. I have never owned NIssan before as we are Subaru and Toyota people - just possibly looking for something different for a chance.

For those that drive the new Murano's are they quiet and comfortable riding vehicle, how is the gas mileage, and how is the reliability with them as well. Thanks

What is your budget? What do you like most about the Murano?

Super comfortable, but goofy cargo space shape due to the sloped rear. Thirsty for fuel without being fast. Kinda pricey compared to others in its class. Love it or hate it styling.

I chose the Ford Edge Sport instead.

No budget. If I were to get one, I would get the platinum. However, I want to see what experience people have had with the new ones. If I feel it is worth the money (yes, now vehicle is worth what they cost) budget is not an issue.

Nissan makes a solid vehicle. However, depending upon what you're looking to spend for a new Murano Platinum edition, you may be able to find a reasonably priced used Acura MDX that will have all the bells and whistles (and possibly more) when compared to the Murano and perhaps even a better warranty if you buy one certified used.

I'm using the Acura MDX as an example. There are other premium line SUVs that could also work here.

Just a thought.

Our 'no budget' choice was the new XC60. Wife said she didn't want a Lexus.

"no budget" = "whatever makes the wife happy"

Best looking exterior and the best looking and most comfortable interior.

ETA: the deciding factor was likely the uniqueness of it. It's new, safe, and looks good.
