I'm tired of reading these stupid arse comments. This is a thread about going to a festival, not a chance for your kind to pound your chest about politics.

And I think it's stupid to hurt the good people of Nola(and yes there are plenty) because of what one egomaniac has decided to do. I love supporting events like this and will continue to do so.

Back on point. It's a fun event. I've had a lot of good memories of spending time sitting on the bayou with friends drinking wine and eating. Enjoyed taking the kids on the canoe rides that they offer. The 5-k race on Friday is a pretty good run.

Just a warning, it's going to be crazy crowded Friday and Saturday night with this weather. Be prepared.

Friday is less crowded than Saturday FWIW. But crazy nonetheless.

Wait, I am confused

Did OP mean Creek Fest?

I am unfamiliar with the intersection of Greeks and kayaks .

tbh, I don't really care for the Greeks too much. They're too loud and have big hairy noses.

I married one, and this is spot on.

Wait a damn minute! Has this event been vetted by the Mitch Landrieu POS Squad? The Greeks were notorious slavers back in the day.

HOW, IN THIS ENLIGHTENED NEW ORLEANS, IS THIS "FESTIVAL" THAT GLORIFIES A SLAVERY CULTURE BEING ALLOWED??

We was all at the Greek fest, it's hot and sandy
I rent scooters, I'm with my family
Tank top, flip flop, really nothing fancy
But get approached by a girl named Tammy
Who looked good enough to be Miss Miami
But say, since some her peeps call her Candy
Than she starts to ask about Aaliyah and Brandy
Tellin' me how she met Puff down at the Grammy's
He ain't tell you I was the one with no panties?
Boo, you know how many he meet with no panties?

And if you gon' hit me, it gotta be a quickie
And please no hickies, cuz wifey's with me
