I've been looking to get a kayak for a while, and now wish I'd have went ahead and pulled the trigger on one.

Anyone if you Baws. going to be out in St John cruising in a 'yak?

I'll be out there, not on the bayou though

For the record you can buy some pretty damn nice inflatable kayaks on sale right now for $69. Perfect for casual kayaking

I've never heard of this, but I want a kayak. Sounds like a good enough reason to get one.

nice and inflatable just doesn't seem like they go together

But for $69, that's throw away territory if it's a shitty kayak but you aren't out shite

Never been to the Greek Fest before. How is it?

tbh, I don't really care for the Greeks too much. They're too loud and have big hairy noses.

Keep an eye on craigslist. I have two kayaks both of which came at 60-70% cheaper than a brand new one.

Don't throw away money if you plan on doing just casual kayaking. Floating on the bayou, a qorkout, maybe out by the lake or the northshore while tubing. Heck, I even think they are sufficient for fishing

If you plan out getting in some rapids that is another story
