Traffic is crazy stuck. Police and ambulances going both ways. It's chaos.

Accident at the Cheniere exit.

ETA: Actually looks like it may be at the next exit east of there (Claiborne?).

Avoid I-20 if at all possible! 4 separate wrecks from exit 114 to 108, both east and west!

It's more than that. I already passed that one up. Car got absolutely crushed. Nobody looked hurt though thank goodness.

Yesterday when I was going from ruston to WM they had flashing signs alerting drivers to be prepared to stop and have vehicles searched as there was a random drug check with dogs up ahead. Is this common? Despite the warnings, I never saw anyone checking.

They have been doing that for decades right before the Camp Rd exit West of West Monroe. There are no searches going on on I-20. BUT the drug toting dumbass who think they're smart bail off onto Camp Rd, a secluded little road that goes nowhere, and they get promptly pulled over for no turn signal, rolling thru a stop sign or some such bullshite. Then they get searched and incarcerated.

They don't check the on the interstates. They use the signs to bait drug trafficking idiots to see the sign and panic. The idiots usually take the next exit to avoid the drug stop and search. The cops are usually there at the end of the exit waiting for them.

pretty sure thats illegal. maybe they were trying to see if the druggies would exit next exit and pull over people driving erratically?

They used to have those signs leading to the Camp Road Exit. There was no drug stop, but they would pull people over who got off on Camp Road because there is literally no reason to use that exit. Sneaky bastards.
