Anybody know how to get an ink tag off a shirt without it detonating?

I didn't steal it, the Emo Wookie chick at Dick's neglected to take it off. I don't really like going to the mall more than once every 5 years or so, so I would prefer to get the thing off without having to go back over there. TIA

That's sort of the point
You could always just cut around it, and then get someone you know to sew it. But that seems more trouble than just going bad t the place

Sure I could Google it. But I would rather ask real life anonymous people for their advise in this matter. Maybe there is a career shoplifter on here that knows an ink tag removal method far superior to the ones found on the Google. Maybe there's somebody on here that has some hilarious ink tag removal stories that would brighten up some depressed individuals Monday and get them off the ledge of a 14 story window. Jeez Francises.

I'm not lazy, dammit. The pincushion on the cash register at Dick's was lazy. It may be 2 weeks before I'm in a 25 square mile radius of that store. I would prefer not making a special trip because of the negligence of a miscreant.
