Anybody had their office Christmas party yet?

Any stories?
Mine is tomorrow. It's been 20 years since there was anything scandalous, e.g., nudity, secretaries making out with each other, fights. I'm anticipating a lot of lame arse drunk people.

SO’s was last weekend

Never enjoyed office parties. I saw those same frickers everyday, the last thing i wanted was to get drunk around them

In the 90's we had Mad Men level blowouts then in the early 2000's we got a group of associates in that just couldn't handle it and after 2 straight years with police involvement it was turned into a much more sedate affair.

I like working from home. More of a hassle to get together. In the past we have just done a quick lunch and moved on.

Had ours last weekend at a very nice hotel in the French Quarter. No cool stories. Open bar, Food was great, had a blast. Woke up Sunday feeling less than stellar. I assumed it was a hangover even though I didn't drink much. Felt even worse Monday morning so I went to urgent care. Turns out I have COVID.

We had ours yesterday. For the ugly sweater contest, I wore a basic sweater with my supervisors picture scotch taped to the front.

In houston for the week. Ours is tomorrow. Nothing crazy will happen. Its at the shop and usually lame as frick.
But tuesday i went pick up my buddy at the omni and we were gonna go get some dinner as he is town for a sales call also. Omni had 2 pharmaceutical sales companies staying there. It was pretty good.

Bosses' wife gave me the same look she does every year after I said something I shouldn't....but free old fashions are good.
