looking for a job. Im a sophomore in college. What does the job require? What was it like?

Someone didn't work there.
To the OP: you will make the sauce, make loads f coleslaw, brew countless gallons of tea, make even more gallons of lemonade, and if you have any game score with all the IRL 5.5-7's that work there on the regular.
It was my second favorite college job only because when I worked as a waiter two different hostesses let me PIITB and the waitresses were 6.5-8's that were easy.

As a customer, what I observe at Canes is people who actually look like they enjoy working there with one another.
Now, Burger King, McDonalds, McDowell's, Wendy's, Rally's KFC and Popeyes on the other hand...

currently work there and it's a great job. The people are cool, it's not super boring, not super hard work... I like it
