Any Texas OTers heard about this Abilene police officer found dead in his house?

Texas Rangers are investigating and the comments from a couple of the websites are saying there were anti-police messages written on his walls around his body. Press conference should be starting soon.

We have no idea if "website rumors" are true.
We don't even know what websites are saying that.
This could very easily be a domestic dispute, and if there are messages to that extent, could have Been put there to throw off the scent.

It is being investigated as a murder. The FBI has been called in. The Rangers can investigate murder. Why is the FBI being called in?
His home is on a cul de sac with 16 houses. People in cul de sacs know about any cars coming in that do not belong. A lot more real information will be coming out.

There are many reasons they could have been brought in
for example
It could be an undercover investigation gone bad. He might be a dirty cop. He might have been informing on a dirty cop. Maybe he is friends or a relative w/a person involved with bad people and was killed to send a message. It might have been a revenge killing from previous arrest of a perp the FBI has interest in. Perhaps he had an addiction issue and was being blackmailed by drug dealers, loan sharks, or the mafia.
