Mine has slots on both sides. I carry in either front pants pocket when I'm somewhere sketchy and rear pants pocket at work.

I've been very happy with this.
Have one of these as well and like it.

I made it, and it is the only one I carry now. Holds five or six cards and some cash. Front, back pocket, shirt pocket, any pocket carry.

For many years, I carried a work ID as a wallet and had a second container for my personal cards and IDs in a front pocket. This worked well for me. My fahter had a huge tri-fold which grew to the point that he was hurting his lower back from sitting on that fat wallet. We went through it and tossed a lot of junk and we then shifted his wallet carry to his front pocket. Solved a few problems.
Here is what we carry and another if you really must carry a lot of cards.

Take a look at Searman. My Son and I both have one that are over 3 years old. Been great for my needs.

I don't know about great, but I have a minimalist Bellroy that I like well enough. Every time I look at doing something else I decide it's not really worth trying to change
Which is pretty rare for me, to be honest, I'm usually willing to pay to try new stuff or for very incremental upgrades.

The Bellroy bifold front pocket wallet is the best I’ve owned by far. I previously had a Saddleback bifold and it was a brick and I started having back problems from sitting on it.
The Bellroy holds everything I need and is ultra slim and well made. They are pricey though.

I received a bi-fold bison leather wallet that a family member purchased while on a vacation in Cody, Wyoming.
15 years later and it hardly shows any wear.
It also came with a lifetime replacement/repair warranty - though at this point, I doubt I’ll ever need it.
Best wallet I’ve ever owned by far.

I bought the same Kingsloot wallet last year. Dumped a bunch of crap I’ve carried in my wallet for years for no good reason. I also switched from back pocket carry to front. Wallet works great and I don’t miss carrying around unnecessary stuff

I have a Louis Vuitton Damier leather wallet. It's held up great for at least 7 years with no sign of wear. However, I also only have two IDs, two cards, and fewer than ten bills in it.
You probably can't go thinner if you insist on carrying ten cards. Your Costco card doesn't need to be in your wallet, leave it in your ride, and grab it when you go in, etc.

I switched to one about 5 years ago and never looked back. Very minimal and no place to store junk. I use this one: Ridge Wallet

Same here. I've had it since 94 and it's still going strong. Well, that little plastic covering for the drivers license is loose on one edge... but other than that...
