It's looking like I might have one. Sumbitch hurts. Can't even touch it. A little swollen too.

Y'all got any home remedies?
Already on the whiskey, so hopefully that fills it down a bit.

I get them all the time. Like every other time I have to cut them both my big toes are in grown.

I just grit my teeth and yank that bitch out every time

I had to have mine cut out by a doctor

It took 3-4 shots in my big toe and a pair of scissors

Soak in Epsom Salt water, as hot as you can handle, then cut it out.

soak it in the hottest water you can stand for 15 minutes. Then go to town with a needle and fingernail clippers.

How do you know when it's definitely an in-grown toenail?

Seriously go to a podiatrist. DON'T go to a regular doctor as I learned this lesson painfully. Go to a podiatrist. It was the best thing I could have done for mine. He will cut them out and kill the root. You will never get another one again.

Used to get them bad. Get the surgery to prevent them.

Burn the fingernail clippers on the stove to sterilize, wipe the soot off with alcohol, cut and dig until removed.

Doing whilst hammered will result in significant bloodshed.

If you can get your hands on some monkey blood use that. If not seal it with super glue, this will cauterize it and take away the pain while it heals.

Get a pedicure after it heals. Vietnam girls love to be grossed out.

Holy shite, y'all crazy. I got one and went to the podiatrist who cut it out and put a drop of acid on the edge to keep it from growing to the side. Known as having your "edges done." Only thing is it's still kinda sore many months later.

Was the kicker for my HS football team and got a nasty ingrown toenail on the big toe of my kicking foot. Had to eventually get minor surgery because I put it off and continued to kick....toe nail got embedded in my skin and the pain became unbearable. Missed 2 games while I wore a boot during recovery.

By the way, being on crutches may be the easiet way to get laid. It was like magic 24/7 while hobbling around town.

Cut the nail at an angle and pull that fricker outta there. I use to get them all the time but it started the cut pull method. I guess I eventually trained them frickers. Now they're beautiful.
