Any Infiniti JX35 or QX60 owners here?

The wife is looking to replace her Toyota Rav 4 with a midsized SUV and has driven damn near every one out there except the Acura MDX (which I really like). She wants something a little bigger with 3rd row seats and only wants to spend around 30 grand on the vehicle. She's already got her Rav sold to a friend for $14k and she's decided that she likes the Infiniti the best. Found a 2013 JX35 with 42k miles that she wants. Pearl white with cream leather, excellent condition for $29,995.
For those that have one, what are your thoughts on the vehicle? Good and bad please.
TIA.

The wifey drives a qx60 and loves it. Just a tip, if you go with the Infiniti, get a qx60 and not the jx just Bc those who know will always know the jx is a 2013 model.

IMO, spend less and get a nicely optioned Pathfinder with fewer miles. Limiting yourself to $30,000 for a used luxury SUV is asking for trouble.

Plus, she's going from a 2010 to a 13, so it's a step up.
Everyone drives a "used car".

Wife just bought a qx60. She likes it, I don't. I think for the price it should have more options than it does. Also it left her on the side of the road not even a week after she bought it. They had to tow it in and she got it back a week later.

I've been dating and married to her for 13 years now, and she's had 4 different Toyota's, and I've never had to bring them in to be fixed.
So, am I in for a change?

Not trying to disuade you, but you can get a heckova Lexus RX350 for that money, or Highlander if you need the 3rd row.
The price on that 2013 is nothing great. A quick cars.com search shows plenty with 10k fewer miles for the same money. The way I negotiated the deal on my wife's RX was to show the sales guy a very similar car in Dallas for $4k less; he met the price. Worth a shot.

Wife has a 2014 and loves the vehicle.
Only issue she has had is one of her visors broke and wouldn't stay up. Replaced with no further issues.
She has it taken to the dealer for regular service and raves about that too.
She drove an Acura before this and prefers her Infinity.

A pin in the throttle body came loose. She got stuck at work in the parking garage because the vehicle would not exceed 5mph. I know it's fixed and all is good now but it's just frustrating and it's not even my car. Another thing that bothers me is the fact you can't Bluetooth your phone for music unless you get the upgraded radio with navigation. She bought the middle model and is not even a touch screen. Small things like that bother me especially when the salesman tells me it's a luxury vehicle and it has less amenities than my truck. The whole buying experience at infiniti of br was pretty bad too.

Yes.
I'd steer clear. If she's dead set on a luxury brand and spending only $30k on it, Lexus is the way to go.

quote:Had one when they first came out in 2010 until mid 2014. Was a good car but the design is getting long in the tooth. I wish they would show the new model. So far nothing. My friend is a manager at a dealer in Ga. and they know nothing. Supposed to be a 2017 but will probably be pushed back.

I love the vehicle, just concerned about the reliability of it.
It does have 7 months more of bumper to bumper and 28,000 miles of powertrain warranty though.

getting a QX70 next year, excited

QX60. Wife's ride.
Great vehicle. Smooth ride. Pleasure to drive, especially long distances. Good acceleration. Very nice interior. I am 5' 11" and can get into, and sit comfortably, in the 3rd row.
Decent space behind third row, but it's not copious.
ETA: has had it for a little over 2 years and 46k miles with no issues.
