i know there is but does she really know someone from every pyramid scheme business around?

i buy mary kay. the woman i buy it from is married to a doctor and likely had the means to invest in her own business with personal money. in her case, that money paid off. She does very well and this has been her primary source of income for a long time. I consider her successful at her profession.

I worked with woman in lafayette who sold lumi who quit her job and is driving the beamer they company bought her, except she is maintaining her sales. She knows a lot of well to do tennis ladies who want to keep slim in an all natural way. She doesnt push people to sign up. She just knows her market and sells well.

My parents were dumb and did amway years ago. they sucked at it like 90% of the people who get involved in MLM suck at sales. But, I was introduced to some people who were successful (in the 90s) with the company. Exception. not the rule, i will admit.

A girlfriend of mine sells plexus to all the fat chicks at her church (its a big church). she chooses to be a stay at home mom, and has decent spending money from that niche.

i actually hate mlm companies. My parents threw a lot of dollars at nothing during my childhood.

But, a good salesman can sell anything, especially if its a decent product. (amway had some bad arse concentrated cleaners and vitamins for an excellent value for example).

skygod, you mkae some good points and if you are saying anyone who works hard at something can succeed, I agree, but like you I have seen many lose not just $$$ but freinds and all ability to live among others due to MLM "cults"...to each their own, but when someone loses all reason and belives in "get rich in a few hours a day selling the latest health prucut tha no store sells becuase it is so great" in the end we all pay, thye end up on govt and/or family support.

Walk the math out for him.

I don't remember my calculus, but I've actually done the math on excel.

Mathematically, pyramid schemes do in act work. The problem is that there aren't enough people in the world to go around.

Prior to you BIL getting rich, the population of the world will "run out".

Is this scam finished here ? I don't see the usual suspects touting it. They no longer have the stickers on their cars and I'm sure the one w/ the BMW is stuck paying the lease himself now ! I was told they are now onto some vitamin / herbal supplement B.S. now ?

LIMU shite

I think this one is pretty dead, BIL was into this and is out now...also heard there actually was one with a Bentley!!! I gather one of the new hots ones is YBR- yellow brick road, young beautiful rich (yes thats what they call it) and VI...I understand all too well the math of the pyriamid part, but it is really simpler than that, who belevies they can sell some "wonder herb etc" to enough friends and friends of friends and recruit more people to do same when people start figuring out thru reserach it is a bunch of junk they could have gotten at GNC for 1/3rd the cost? The internet is both the best and worst thing for these scams..came across the "yprpariah" website...good stuff...
