Another "where would you live" thread...

I've spent the last month narrowing down my job search to about 15-20 positions, which fall in the following locations....
Kansas City, MO
Minneapolis, MN
Buffalo, NY
Salt Lake City, UT
Missoula/Helena, MT
Birmingham, AL
Manchester, NH
Charlotte, NC
Phoenix, AZ (metro)
Detroit, MI (metro)
Milwaukee or Madison, WI
Greenville, SC
Orlando, FL
...and of course, Louisiana (and Dallas), but I'm already familiar with these places.
I've only lived in two different cities in my life, so I haven't spent a significant amount of time in a ton of places -- assuming cost of living would be relatively similar within reason, where would you prioritize out of these options? I know that people here live or have lived in some of the most unexpected places, so I figured I could find a person or two to comment on each of these.

Minneapolis and Madison are great cities. Winter is the only problem. I think Madison might get a little boring if you're single, even though it's a college town.
Metro Detroit is just fine and probably has more ballers than almost every city on that list.
My cousin lives in Charlotte and is bored to death. Great weather, I guess, but kind of soulless.

I would only live in Missoula and SLC. The rest of those cities suck balls.

I wouldn't want to live anywhere with bad winters. So, that takes about 1/2 of your list away.

Charlotte, NC
