Well the problem is that he made some grand assumptions based on young kids appearing ravenous at the sight of pizza.
If one is truly concerned that the parents/guardians of the children are engaging in neglect, it seems more prudent to address this issue at the parent/guardian level than at the children's level. To feed children you believe to be starving, is noble. But how long will you continue to feed them? Are you now their provider?
