I took this from the best advice about women thread
My wife is OT 8 and her mom is -4
Am I screwed? She looks nothing like her mom, she resembles her dads side of the family more.

She is already your wife, does it matter?
Look for pics of her mom when she was younger, if that helps.
PS - My parents were much better looking than any of their kids, both when they were young and old.

No. They may take after their dad instead. So in your situation the relevant question is is your father-in-law still hot?

My wife has features from her mom, but looks a lot different. Like you can definitely tell shes her mother's daughter, but they take the features in different directions. Completely different body types as well. If she were to end up looking like her mom, it would take a lot of changes.
Also never tell your wife that you hope she doesn't end up looking like her mother. No matter how obviously unattractive the mother is, she's going to get offended. These things are probably obvious, but not to everyone.

My sister resembles my mom, facially, but they're bodies look nothing alike. My sister just had twins three months ago and is already back to pre-baby skinny as can be.

I see my mother in the mirror more and more everyday. Unfortunately, it's not the young, beautiful version. Sometimes I feel like I am my mother.
