All time debate: Tundra vs. F150 vs. Silverado/Sierra

Which one would you pick? Car reviews rank the Ram high, but we all know that it has dependability issues, so that it a deal-killer for me.
What does the OT say?

Tundra... but not the latest models with the V6

It's all a matter of personal preference. Why do you care what truck others may pick? Make your own decision.

Tundra is probably the nicest on the inside. Just cant get over that lousy gas mileage.
Chevy trucks run forever. Everyone I know that has one pushes them well over 200K miles. Mine is at 180K.

I've owned them all minus the dodge and I had access to one at work. Tundra is by far the truck with the least maintenance issues. The only drawback to the Tundra is the gas mileage and really, that's not enough of a difference to matter. I will never drive anything but a Tundra again.

Same. Tundra and Silverado will both go high miles but Silverado will start having small issues that you have to deal with constantly. The issues will gradually get bigger as you put more miles on the Silverado.

My Tundra is an "06 with 151k miles. My only 2 negatives are the gas mileage and the turning radius. Other than that, this truck is aces.

Last time I bought a truck it was something around 7-8mpg difference. Has that changed?

V8 Tundra and nothing else is remotely close unless you need a diesel

i'm in the market right now and the only drawback i can find on the tundra is gas mileage... i don't pay for gas so tundra it is

Personally I’d go
F150
Sierra
Ram
Tundra
F150
Sierra
Ram
Tundra

I prefer the way the Chevy looks and handles/rides. The Tundra is going to have the highest quality, but I just cannot stand the way that Toyotas ride. So for me, personally, I'm going Chevy/GMC.
Ford is just meh. Although, the old F150s of the early and mid 90s were the tits.

I had a 15 Silverado that was supposed to get 21-23. It actually got 17-19. I got rid of that because it was a maintenance nightmare and Chevy wouldn't honor the warranty. I got an 18 Tundra that gets 16ish most of the time. So it's basically a 3-4 mpg difference. The 18 Tundra now has 138K with zero issues so far.

Tundra V8 gets absolutely terrible gas mileage.
F-150 interior feels plastic
The 6cyl turbo engines are doodoo
GM trucks’ 8 speed transmission is terrible and has class action lawsuits against it.
Some of their V8s are giving problems.
The only answer is 2019+ Ram.
The 2019+ Titan is also worth a look.
Reliable. Good MPG. Nice ride.
They’re just ugly.
My current truck is an 2019 F150 with the V8.
I get 20-22 MPG consistently.
The drawbacks are:
1. My Ram’s interior was much nicer
2. The 10 speed transmission shifts a little rough at times
People like to shite on Ram, but they are 100% making the best truck right now.
The Tundra is very reliable, but that MPG is just too much for me to ignore.

Silverado/Sierra
I've owned three Ford's and the Silverado/Sierra is light years ahead of Ford in terms of drivability and performance. My 5.3L (DFM disabled by Pulsar LT) and 10 speed tranny will run like a scalded dog. I've got the auto locking rear end so any time I start to feel it slip you can feel the rear lock and tires bite.
The interior features and luxury between Ford and GM are even now, IMO. Ram has a lot of bells and whistles but the screen interface is buggy and not user friendly.
My only suggestion is to stay away from an Ecoboost engine. I had one in my last F150 and the claims of misfiring under acceleration and turbo lag are 100% true. Also, timing chain isn't easy (or cheap) to replace and will go bad at any moment past 100k miles.
