Runs on bad haircuts so the Marines can operate it?
kidding again- my guess is it runs on diesel, JP-8 etc.
Bingo. It can run on either diesel or JP8.
However, speaking from the exprence we had in our Abrams back in the early 90's. If you burn diesel for a long time and then switch to JP8, you're going to have a shite load of problems. When we first swapped over, we'd have to change fuel filters ever few hours due to them getting clogged up.

A lot of turbine engines can run on diesel or regular gas. It just fricks up the fuel pumps really fast. Anything other than Jet fuel should be used in emergencies only.

Well the problem we had was our tanks had been run for years on old fashioned diesel, not this new ultra-low sulfur stuff they make nowadays. This was the regular old diesel.
Then one day some geniuses decide to swap us over to JP8 right as we are going into the field. As soon as we started running the JP8 through our systems it started breaking free all that sludge that had built up in our fuel tanks and lines for years. The result was fuel filters that usually last months, we lasting only hours. This kept up for about a week, week and a half before I guess they finally worked all the gunk out.

They are a colossal boondoggle. They crash A LOT

Yea that's part of the problem. JP8 is like fuel tank soap.

Great weapons... At least as long as you're operating them over undefended airspace.

Which is all that we do

Right now. If we ever had to face any real enemy, drones would be of little use.
Like I said, they're great for killing goat humpers with no air defense. But that's really it.

They will still be great assets after we knock out there air defenses

also....what, exactly are these? They look like vehicle transports but what class are they?
They're docked right behind where I work. One on the far right is gone now. The three on the left are identical.
bonus pic...
They were practicing maneuvers over NAS Oceana the day before two of them collided off the coast of North Carolina.
