What are some good suggestions. Jamiaca is the only placewe don't want to go. Not married to the beach either. Thanks

Just got back from Cozumel and opted for not getting all-inclusive. Instead, we rented a car on the cheap and hit all parts of the island. I've done all inclusives before, but decided this time I didn't want to be confined to just the resort. Enjoyed the hell out of our trip. Just an idea.

Delta has direct flights from MSY to Cancun. I would suggest taking one of those and hitting up an all inclusive in the Cancun area. I just spent a week at Excellence Playa Mujeres and was blown away. It was incredible.

ETA: The flight from Nola to Cancun is like 1:30-1:45, so you wouldn't be traveling all day. You could be on the beach in like 3-4 hours from leaving Nola.

Didn't do all inclusive, but they are available.

Can do three days inland and three days on the island. Great suggestion for people just wanting to have a low key vacation.

Which airline is that? I don't know of any non-stops to Cancun from Nola.

There is some travel company that lines up all inclusive deals with charter flight included from N.O. I think they only do it during the late spring and summer though from what I recall. They generally advertise in the Picayune.
