Does anyone know what kind of commission rate an alcohol sales rep should be making for a company like Glazer's or Republic?

Buddy of mine works for glazers. Works about 25 hours a week and makes 50-60k a year and gets all kinds of free liquor.

About 2% with incentive bonuses. Wife has been at it for over a year and has done very well.

Pretty sure it will vary, but don't expect to hit some of the numbers that more tenured rep will hit right off the bat. It's a fun industry to be in.

No doubt about this. Within a year of working there, my wife and I have have already been to Destin, N.O., and missing a trip to the Jack Daniels distillery (sucks).

I do have a few really good bottles of whiskey too. A JD Sintara Blend bottle signed by master distiller which will remain unopened.

Thinking daughters wedding. Not sure yet. According to some of the guys she works with, its a pretty rare deal to have him sign a bottle personally to you.

Definitely drink it at some point. You'll still have the signed bottle.

She really likes it. A few of the older guys gave her a hard time in the beginning but she is killing it now.

Comes with the job. I had a few fellow reps that gave me a hard time, but after putting out some numbers they hushed up. Most of the lifers are so used to their route and routine that they don't like change very much.
