At what age is it just plain odd for someone to be blaring EDM music in their car or on the beach? I am in my late 30's and know people +5 years older than me who still do this.

Still makes me shake my head when I see people over 30 with aftermarket stereo equipment in their car.

I have a good friend who has ALWAYS loved techno. He just turned 44. I feel bad for him.

It is just something you can no longer blare. But at a certain age "blaring" any music is a no-no. If I am driving down the road blaring (insert Seattle band) I feel like an old man in Crocs and socks.

I don't care what other people do unless it directly affects me or my loved ones, however old they are.

but my opinion is that someone in their mid 40's should just put that stage of life behind them

So people should stop being themselves because you think they are too old. GFY

My younger brother was blaring some dubstep on the beach during his bachelor party. I was pretty embarrassed.

There is no age limit to blaring classic rock while driving with the windows down

I plug my iPhone into my Harley's stereo and blare my Pandora Motley Crue station all the time. Did exactly that this morning in fact. Zero fricks given.
