I agree somewhat. I don't Facebook or instagram so I guess this is my primary communication. The difference I guess for me is I use it primarily at work and hardly at all when I am off.

But I digress, and this might be viewed as ugly by some but its a thread about Rag so harshness should be expected. What was weird about this week for me was the surprising number of posters that reached out to me to ask about Rag and all this buzz around his passing.
I guess his and mine headbutting in the past was one that stuck with people. It was certainly loud and long lasting and the fact hat I still hear border jokes ( and even make them myself) even after they were proven false is proof that Rag was effective .

And not to speak ill of the dead even if thats what Rags reputation was built on in the past. I wonder if Rag and I ever would have made peace if Stout had not first admitted the story was false. And not to sound like a bitch, but at the time that tale did do damage. I was dating someone and she lurked on the board. Would read these stories and because of the timing of the alleged road trip gone wrong, accused me of cheating, eventually that relationship ended.

Now Im not saying it was ONLY because of Rags story but it certainly contributed to a loss of trust and thats a relationship killer. And I know I was not the only person on here that he did these sort of things to. Its what he was known for, how many more of his stories that became fact were just lies about others that no longer post here how many other were hurt ?

I ONLY share this to point out, Rags "storytelling" as the family caused it, did real damage to the lives of innocent people, some post here, some we may never know of.
But lying about others and purposefully fricking up people's lives is not something to be celebrated.
I do think it funny he still has his defenders who are now faced with the fact that he was a fat, divorced, assistant store manager that lived at home with his parents, who was the person making fun others IRL lives. it seems he didnt have one.

I still feel bad for the family for several different reasons and hope that at some point he is no longer a subject of conversation on this board.

Sounds like a high school kid who made up stories to ruin someone's reputation. Why would a responsible adult do that?

I dont tell lies about Chris' life off the board ( he doest really have a helper monkey)

I dont out him and dig into his personal/private/professional lives and bring that here or go to IRL people and tell them tales.

I tease Oweo the poster and Ive even asked him if its OK and he has said it is and he finds some of it funny.
My making fun of Oweo is about his behavior ON THE BOARD I might allege to off-site behaviors like parking spots, but that shite is so stupid and over the top no one can be dumb enough to think its true.


I think thats the difference, plus if he asked me to stop I would.
