Advice on where to stay in Cancun.....

Going with the gf (no pics) :double bird:........In our mid 20's,,,any advice on where to stay? (looking for all-inclusive) Thank you.

We went for our senior trip in 1998, so I'm sure there are plenty of other newer/nicer resorts now. Sorry I wasn't of much help.

The Royal at Playa Del Carmen. Great resort and 5th avenue shopping right in front of resort with nice stores, bars, restaurants,etc. Was just there 3 weeks ago.

Cancun is like Destin, check a little further south near or in Playa...

I thought they cut your head off and shite in Mexico. Plus, doesn't the water have fecal matter in it? Is this in the travel brochures?

That is the boarder towns. I am heading down in January with the family, 3 nights in Playa and then driving south 4 hours to Xcalak, on the Belize boarder.

Moon Palace = expensive and awesome.
