Personally I think aisle up to aisle down should never exceed 60 minutes.

Getting into the too long range. 45 minutes should suffice

That is a stretch and I am Catholic. I think 45 minutes or less.

I don't know but should definitely be inversely proportional to venue temperature.

Mine was 12 minutes from the time the preacher and I entered the room until my wife and I walked out, and we had a pretty big wedding.
Wedding ceremony takes time away from the after party & reception. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Anything more than 45 minutes is way too long. My ceremony was maybe 20 minutes.

IMO, an hour is the absolute top for any event....hell, I can go to a damn good concert and I am bored after an hour.

30-45.
Unless you're Catholic and include mass, about an hour.

I just left a wedding where the pastor rambled on for 45 minutes. Not even including the shite he has to say. I was to the point I nearly threw a pineapple at him because I had one available and the bar was open.

Bridesmaid quality should maybe factor in.

I've provided the music for ceremonies for the last six years. Probably have done 75 weddings now.
Anything over 20 minutes is too long. They walk in, short intro, short sermon, vows, maybe prayer or communion, kiss, recessional.
I know some ceremonies are heavily religious and have more but for the outdoor weddings I do, they need to be quick and to the point.

15 minutes is great. 30 minutes is the top of the acceptable range. 45 minutes is into "should have gone straight to the reception" range. 60 minutes is just cruel to the guests. 60+ minutes is just asinine, plus attention whoring to the extreme on a day that's already all about attention whoring.

If it's a Mass, it should go about 45 minutes - the celebrant should keep the homily short and use the shortest Eucharistic prayer.
If it isn't a Mass, you really just need to exchange the vows.

20 minutes tops.
Especially outside.

Went to 2 outdoor weddings last year. Stood in one. Median time was 8 mins. I loved it.

Depends on the reception. If it's crappy. 20 minute baptist ceremony. Really good like a Greek wedding 50 minutes
