Dress up like a ghost.

Maybe wear one of those pointy birthday hats.

It will teach them to be prepared for the unknown or some shite.

Maybe have a giant t for teamwork using bats.

Light it on fire. That way they'll see it.

Will you still help them of their skin color is not the same as yours?

I am malvin. Melvin is another poster. Please do not get us confused again. We do not all look alike

You seem racist

Maybe? But probably not. It's your racism in question here, not mine.

What is the backstory of having black girls on the travel ball team that some of these guys are referencing?

Can't be an official 9-10 year old girls softball assistant coach without a snug fitting pair of Bike coach's shorts

Seem money handeling should be a top concern too.

Place two parents who aren't close buds in charge of the team money. I had one mom volunteer to be in charge of the money. Everything was fine until I discovered that she was trying to rip off the team. It took much pushing by me to get her to pay what she owed. I was shocked how many parents were willing to let her get away with that shite.

It's not bad. I coached 10u last year, moving up to 12u this year. Just set the rules and follow them.

Heas coach handles money. Period. Anyone doesn't like how he handles it, can find somewhere else to play.

Remember it's not about you. If you lose, if the girls play bad, it's not a reflection of you. Don't take it personally.

Don't argue with the umps on every call that you don't agree with. Pick your battles. Argue rules, not bad calls.

Players will come and go. There is no loyalty. Plan for it and expect it.

Be willing to learn. This isn't baseball. They are much the same, but also very different.

Boys play well to feel good. Girls feel good to play well.

Run away as fast as you can. It is one of the most thankless jobs there is. And it will be a job. Enjoy it from the stands. Trust me on that. Life is much simpler there.

Dude, no I'm not a fricking tow truck driver.
I'm an equal opportunity 9-10 year travel ball assist coach that's in search of bike shorts.

And apparently some kid on here named Melvin is all butthurt at me.
I mean Malvin, sorry about that Melvin... Malvin.
