Back on topic it sounds like I need to find out a bit more about local propane companies.
Would they be the ones who would make the additional runs to kitchen and laundry room?
One HVAC is heat pump and I would like to run a line near it at the same time as it's 18 years old and when it craps out i want to be ready to drop a gas unit in.

Why would you run an HVAC system on propane over electrical?
From my research it's much cheaper to use electricity for HVAC over propane same for home appliances also propane can be a very volatile market just look at propane prices from 2005 to 2008 to now.

I live in TN and electrical heat in the winter is way more expensive than gas because you pretty much run on emergency heat most of the time when the temp drops below 40.
Eta natural gas that is. I don't know beans about propane which is why I'm asking questions.
