We have been pretty high on Bosch previously but I wanted to see what the OT thought.

I went with a Bosch and love it. Cleans great and is very quiet. At it's price point it was one of the only units with a SS interior.

I think it may be time for an Appliance Board.

What distinguishes the price point of a dishwasher from the price of a dishwasher?

Don't buy anything. It's going to stop working and you won't know what's wrong. You'll be back on here asking questions, and it'll probably be the control panel that will go out three times before you finally throw it to the curb.

Home Depot has some deals going on with up to 30% off on some brands.

I'm getting one this weekend.

Stay away from Kenmore Elite. 2 yrs old and I have already changed a thermostat, top rack brackets and an element.

Fyi. Home Depot will price match all competitors plus (at least in metro NO) they could install for by far the cheapest price.

Btw, I heard good things about Bosch. CR rates it relatively high as well.

Just installed a Kitchenaid with stainless interior.
Extremely quiet and does a good job.
No complaints with it.

Our Bosch constantly stops during the cycle and we have to restart it, sometimes up to 5 times. The door pops open a bit. We've had a technician out to look at it and he put a new locking kit on it. Still didn't help.

Had the same Kenmore. Lasted 2 years, mother board fried. Had the insurance, so got back the purchase price, and bought a Maytag. Happy so far, but they don't make dishwashers like they used to.
