I heard someone say "I could give a rat's arse" about something they were complaining about. I thought the phrase was "I don't give a rat's arse".
Which is it? Why is arse of rat given or not?

personally I never give a rat's arse... i usually go the flowers and jewelry route and she doesn't get mad. but there are some out there that prefer to give a rat's arse. go figure.
