I've never seen a bunch of people so obsessed with a specific church as the OT is with HPC. And I bet hardly anyone has actually gone there or knows what actually goes on there.

I don't go there, but FWIW, pastor Mike is good people.

Just so you know, Dino is no longer the pastor there and they release there audits every year now. They even make pamphlets for people to bring home. Shows what they collected from tithes and exactly what it went to, such as feeding the homeless, helping addicts, other outreach programs, expanding their churches, etc etc.

Like I said in my previous post, people hate on HPC so much on this board and they haven't the slightest clue of what they talk about.

FWIW, Jesus wasn't helping the rich people and well off people. He was helping the poor, sick, etc, and people on this board forget that.

They think people who go to church are supposed to be perfect, when that's simply not true.

And, before someone tries to say I'm a member or defending religion, I haven't been to church in months. I'm just able to form my own opinion, rather than regurgitate stuff that's said on this board. (last part in general, not for you jln)
