A lot of police and work crews at Jeff Davis now

They have barricades out and police all over, multiple flat bed work trucks. May be coming down now.
No protesters at all. Just police. Have lake bound Jeff Davis to one lane.

When does the new bill go into effect, that was just passed, that protects monuments and requires cities to put it to a vote to move or replace?

He may be thinking that with people focused on jazzfest and Alton Sterling, this may be the time to do it with the least amount of attention.
