I remember watching this interview years and years ago and feeling heartbroken for the guy. Hate to hear he had more tragedy in his life.

RIP, Mr. Jackson

The dude narrating with the AU football in the background was kinds weird.

Just awful.... I'll never forget being 17 and watching that... Also driving to Biloxi and seeing all the casinos across 90. Then the bay mud all over everything in D'Iberville

Damn man. I remember seeing that and thinking to myself that my family and I were actually lucky, despite what we went through.

That's the class of Auburn fans. Never miss an opportunity to brag about a tainted title.

That interview was a block from my High School. The whole area is near the Bay. One of the biggest differences with Katrina from the last major storm Camile was the water that came in the Back Bay.

Point Cadet was completely leveled to the point that you could see from the beach to the Bay.

My grandparents live on the tchoutacabouffa river about a mile before back bay, and the water came about 10 ft away from their door. Their house is about 30 feet above the river

That's why I always agree when people say that there is no doubt that New Orleans got it bad but the MS coast got its rear end handed to them. Just complete devastation.

Anderson Cooper talked about that man on his special. I thought he was from NOLA. I had no idea he was from Mississippi until a few days ago.

I hadn't seen that clip since I watched it that first day.

But, you can bet I hadn't forgotten it, either.
