"There was well over 200-plus individuals that were involved in the melee at twin peaks Sunday afternoon," Sgt. Swanton said. "Some of those individuals were intentionally released that day."

So not every person there was arrested that day

I would really like for the facts of all this to see daylight, because I believe the truth is somewhere in between the two sides we are hearing. I talked to one of my friends who is a ph in one of these clubs and got just what I figured I'd get "I don't know nothing" which is better than being told to frick off I guess.

Well the article this morning on CNN doesnt help Darth and his buddies on here look better for defending these guys. Informants are now saying the bandidos have ordered hits and are planning to used explosives against law enforcement officers. Also the numbers they keep giving in here about the number of weapons is just lies. They have found way more guns and knives then the defenders of these guys on here keep saying and they keep finding more because the guys involved tried to get rid of the weapons. Why can't we all agree that being a biker in no way makes you a criminal and doesn't in any way mean you are involved with any criminals but belonging to the types of MC's involved here almost certainly means you are or at least are complicit with the crimes of other members.

I don't understand why people want to label all bikers as violent or trashy. That is completly ignorant and seems very pretentious to care what people do with their spare time. And I don't understand why any biker would ever defend these types of people from anything. You would think they would want these guys gone for good so that they stop creating negative stereotypes.

Where have we defended these guys? Myself and others have said repeatedly that the guys that broke the law should be jailed and prosecuted, I'm sorry if think just because we've said it's asinine that 170 people are locked up, most of whom did nothing illegal is defending them.

Fat fingers and an iPhone don't go well together ha. And yes some on here have defended them. Trying to act like these guys didn't really do what is being reported by everybody and implying a conspiracy and cover up is defending them indirectly if not directly. Some on here also have tried to say that many of them didn't have weapons and that the number of guns was small when the report today says that number is way higher than they are claiming on here. I would say that is defending these guys.

Could not have said it better myself.

And once again, this story about Banditos putting "hits" out on LEO's, is pure billshit. They may be crazy, and some or for sure criminal, but they're not stupid. Think about it. Does it make sense to go to war with the government? Let's say for a minute they really did start taking out cops. The first thing that would happen is the full weight of everything from the local Barney Fifes & state police to the FBI, ATF, and and even homeland security would come down on the Banditos and totally destroy that club. It would be suicide for any club to do something that incredibly stupid in this day and age.

I'm not defending the Banditos, I'm just saying the not in that they'd do something that stood is absurd.

I have no doubt some of the bikers there were breaking the law. I also have little doubt many were armed. Most bikers I know, including myself, are concealed carry permit holders and usually always carry a pistol legally. We have rights just like everyone else.

The question I'd like to know is how many bikers pistols were fired and how many did the cops confiscated still in their holster and had never been pulled out or fired. And I'm not buying for a minute the lie about pistols in bags of chips or stuffed in bags of flour. AP has reported on the videoes from inside and they show nothing but people taking cover. That and the fact that the cops were inside Twin Peaks within a minute of the start of everything and everyone was on the floor when they came in, tells me nobody had time to go hide a gun.

You will only get the facts after a very long delay. No wait you won't even get them at all. Truth and reality nolonger matter in this situation. The papers will print what they want and the thugs will deny and the Police will put up the blue sheild. I can tell you this there will be some nice bikes up for aution soon. Ballists will prove that nobody did the shooting.

I happen to work with a few guys that are part of the MC world. One is affiliated with tSOS, another wearStef and gold, to think that they would put out a hit on LE is asinine and ridiculous, all they want is for the spotlight to fade so they can ride, go to their functions and not be hassled. This is normally a big weekend for Red and Gold, my buddy who is attending Biloxi says not any of his Texas brothers are coming.

The groups involved here don't want to just ride in peace. If anything they want the attention to die down so they can continue their illegal activities such as drug running and human trafficking. I'm sure there were many guys who got arrested that were just hanging out peacefully and that is wrong and should receive the full attention of the media.

So the children's charity club, the 2 veteran's clubs, and the independents who were at this COC&I meeting are all criminals too there is more to this than we know and I'll with hold judgment until the facts all come out, however unlikely that is.

Well another part of the cops story is showing to be false....

Decorated vet among bikers killed in Waco

quote:

WACO — One of nine bikers killed at a shootout outside a Texas restaurant was a Vietnam veteran and Purple Heart recipient whose family members dispute police claims he was in a criminal group.

An Associated Press review of Texas court records and a database maintained by the state Department of Public Safety turned up no criminal history in Texas for Jesus Delgado Rodriguez, 65, of New Braunfels. And his son Vincent Ramirez told the San Antonio Express-News that he was not violent.

Rodriguez was one of nine bikers killed Sunday when gunfire erupted at Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco, where motorcyclists had gathered for a meeting. Authorities have said the shooting began during an apparent confrontation between two rival motorcycle gangs — the Bandidos and the Cossacks.

Waco police spokesman Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton told the AP on Wednesday that all those killed were part of those two gangs. He did not return phone messages Thursday seeking comment about Rodriguez.

Military records show Rodriguez was a Marine on active duty from 1969 and 1973, and received the Purple Heart, given to those wounded or killed in action. He also received a Navy commendation medal and other awards.

Family members said Rodriguez was a biker and had belonged to two now-defunct motorcycle clubs, one of which allowed couples. But he was not part of any club when he was killed at Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco, they said, though he had friends who were Bandidos.

“If he thought there was going to be violence he wouldn’t have gone,” Rodriguez’s son-in-law Amado Garces told the Express-News.

Video footage reviewed by AP shows that when gunfire erupted in the parking lot of the restaurant, most of the leather-clad motorcycle riders watching the confrontation from the patio or inside immediately ran away from the shooting. A few tried to direct people to safety, crawling on all fours heading for cover.

One biker ran away with blood on his face, hands and torso. A woman could be heard screaming, “Oh my God!” Others yelled, “Get down!”

Restaurant security video reviewed exclusively by the AP on Wednesday showed only one of the dozens of bikers recorded firing a gun from the patio of the restaurant. None of the nine video angles shows the parking lot.

Many of the bikers on tape are likely to have been arrested by Waco police, who rounded up about 170 people, charged them with felony engaging in organized criminal activity and set their bonds at $1 million.

Some bikers have complained that police acted too hastily in making arrests and scooped up riders who had nothing to do with the violence.

Swanton declined to comment about the video Wednesday. Swanton has said the people arrested were members of biker gangs with criminal elements that have been monitored by local authorities for months.

“They were not here to drink and eat barbecue,” Swanton said earlier this week. “They came here with violence in mind.”

The AP was shown the video by representatives of the Twin Peaks franchise, who have said the fighting began outside the restaurant, not inside as police have said. The franchise has not released the video publicly, citing the ongoing investigation.

Video footage shows police with assault rifles entering the door about two minutes after the shooting begins. As two officers enter, bikers can be seen lying on the floor with their hands spread.
