Just to be clear, even though I'm of the Christian faith, I do believe in evolution and was an anthropology minor in college.

So...I suppose I believe in evolution with divine guidance.

What's your take on it?

IDGAF how we got here. Knowing the complete answer wouldn't change a damn thing to me. God, aliens, blind luck, terrible curse...

Are you asking if I believe facts?

It's a proven fact. Of course I do.

I'm not sure anything in science is ever 'proven' but there is certainly a lot of evidence for it.

I believe God used evolution to form/shape the world He created.

Science is based on evidence. Evidence isn't necessarily the same thing as proof.

He's technically correct. Logically speaking, scientific conclusions are impossible to prove 100%

Do I believe things evolve in different environments... sure...

Do I believe the biblical story of Adam and Eve.... yes.... pretty sure that answers your question.

Fact: In science, an observation that has been repeatedly confirmed and for all practical purposes is accepted as “true.” Truth in science, however, is never final and what is accepted as a fact today may be modified or even discarded tomorrow.

Hypothesis: A tentative statement about the natural world leading to deductions that can be tested. If the deductions are verified, the hypothesis is provisionally corroborated. If the deductions are incorrect, the original hypothesis is proved false and must be abandoned or modified. Hypotheses can be used to build more complex inferences and explanations.

Law: A descriptive generalization about how some aspect of the natural world behaves under stated circumstances. Theory: In science, a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world that can incorporate facts, laws, inferences, and tested hypotheses.

Are you saying it's not conclusive that water is made of the H2O molecule?

Future advances in electron microscopy may lead to other molecule discoveries.

Also, there's a lot of difference between 'evolutionary theory' and the atomic makeup of water.
