You can't mean the lenses? I can get behind the idea of someone saying the frames are better on Maui but I just can't see it for the lenses.

Just overall quality construction and fit.

Lot of truth in that. I do like Native's features though. Venting and grips are awesome.

He no longer sells the pair I have but the Fly OS are pretty sweet. I may have to get a pair.

I'm way to absent minded and hard on things to spend $200 on shades, even though I do need good glasses with as much time as I spend outside.

I've been buying the Kirkland Signature aviators for $26. They are polarized and made in Italy. They're what a pair of sunglasses should cost, if it weren't for the glasses monopoly

I've always heard that if you are buying a new pair of shades from Italy then you are getting the best. If you are spending more than $50 on a pair then you are just paying for a name.

He raised his prices since he started the company. I bought a pair a few year back for only $80. They are similar to the Fly OS.

Apparently, a lot of movie production companies use them on set in films going on in Nola.

That's very true. Oakley is not manufactured by that Italian sunglass company though. They have patents for many of the top of the line optic technology out these days. Including both glasses and contacts. People just write them off because douchebags like to wear the white Oakleys

Yeah, looks like they've doubled since I last visited the site. Good for him, I guess. A similar company who hasn't gone insane with pricing is Warby Parker. American owned and whatnot.

Absolutely suck. Of all the glasses I have they're optics are by far the worst. They look cool though but I never wear them.

I used to think just like you.

I would buy a cheap pair of Magellans and be happy until I lost Em.

Then I came across a pair of Mauis that I felt I just had to have. Said frick it and bought Em.

Had them for more than a year. Don't go anywhere without them.

This, the Kirkland brand sunglasses are very high quality. Have had zero issues over the years.

Oakley sunglasses are manufactured by Luxottica just like 90% of designer sunglasses
