16 yr old MALE dumped by 20 yr old FEMALE.
A Broken - hearted kid.
I would REFUSE to punish the teen, nuff damage done. The Mom feels different, wants law involved, etc. The Dad is my friend, doesn't want teen to be subpoen'd

Can the teen be forced to testify as a minor vs. This person*

If the mom settles down, Noone is knocked up...can't they just let it go?

Eta: edited for ambiguities. I was rushing. Sry.

20 yr old in a relationship with a 16yo? If the mom is that pissed off, it could end up with a sex offense on the 20 yr old. His life will be fricked up for a long time.

You can't go to law enforcement when you were OK with the relationship from the beginning.

Mom is the bad guy in this one.

if it were my kid, i would just want it all dropped. no point ruining some kids life over a 3.5-4 year age gap.

so because the kid had a break up, the first thing to do is get back at that person and call the police?

real fricking mature...people like this are why lawyers are rich and lives are ruined

So what crime did the 20 y/o commit? there's no law against hanging out with a minor.

If they didn't have sex there's nothing she can do. If they did age of consent in the state would play a huge part. Sounds like mom is jealous she can't pull 20 yos anymore

Oh no.
Boots were knocked, make no mistake.
Teen lied about age to 20 yr old and admitted it finally.
Broke it off asap, teen comes home boohooing.
