If you use math, you will calculate that the average black person is 6.74 times more likely to commit murder than the average white person .

Blacks (12% of population) are responsible for 4,811 rapes

(4811/12) / (9504/78) = (400.92) / (121.85) = 3.29

If you use math, you will calculate that the average black person is 3.29x more likely to commit rape than the average white person.

Whites (78% of population) are responsible for 35,443 robberies
Blacks (12% of population) are responsible for 45,827 robberies

(45827/12) / (35443/78) = (3818.92) / (454.40) = 8.4
