964s are the most beautiful cars ever.

I'm sold that this is the pinacle of German design.
The modern 'tucked' versions are just unreal to me....not that I could ever wear shoes clean enough or pants tight enough to go this low, dam tho.

I like, not enough 'go cart' though.
ETA: I'm more form follows function than that beautiful Merc...a 190?
I think this beats yours:
Still not as beautiful as that 1993 964...though obviously more collectible.

Yup. '59
Also a fan of these, aesthetically speaking

That thing begs to be a hotrod.
'59 wow. I can't even look at shite that expensive...that's ultimately not a 'production' car...the 507 wasn't either though.
They made some 964s though, really shockingly beautiful.

If we're going with Porsche...911 Carrera.

I agree with the SL, only the year is the debate

I'm saying function plays into the beauty...that thing, although beautiful, looks like a bucket of bolts compared to the 964.

I'll have one, eventually. That SL, a DB3, and a 30's Phantom are on my bucket list.

English cars are perfectly fine if you're not incompetent.
I'm looking for an early 90s Defender right now.
Hopefully an E Type in the next 5.

1. Have well-to-do forebears who reproduce at astonishly low rates
2. Nepotism and laziness
3. ???
4. Profit
My first vehicle was an '89 Defender. That fricker spent more time in the shop than it did in my control. I would never get another unless I knew how to do maintenance.

I'm on Land Rover #3 right now. Range Sport, LR4, and now a full size Range SC.
I've gotten pretty decent at working on them.

I was in Birmingham Al in 1993 and we used go to the Porsche / Rover dealership ALL OF THE TIME. Literally those guys would show us every detail of the customs...the D90/D110 variants were outrageous. Speedster 964s, C4s...basically unreal...and I knew it back then.

I think you're underselling yourself.
You sound, here, more tech oriented and modern than that.

The 110s are too big and you just really don't see them that much.
